Mail is the default email program for the Mac OS X operating system.
Open Mail from the Dock.

Select Preferences from the Mail menu.

From the Accounts window click Add Account.

Define your accounts settings as follows:

Your full email address (john@yourdomain.com) |

| Incoming Mail Server: |
mail.yourdomain.com
(replace yourdomain.com with your domain) |

| Password: |
email password |
| Outgoing Mail Server: |
Provided by your ISP: internet service provider:
Consult your ISP for your SMTP server name
If your ISP does not provide SMTP server services: mail.yourdomain.com
(Replace yourdomain.com with your own domain name) |
Click OK.

Your email account is now configured. Close this screen to finish the configuration.
