Click the "Connect to the Internet" icon on your desktop. The "Internet Connection Wizard" dialog window will appear. |

Click the "I want to Setup My Internet Connection Manually..." radio button and then click "Next". |

Click the "I connect through a phone line and a modem" radio button and then click "Next". |

Enter your austintexas.net connect dialup number "Phone number 485-9011" and then click "Next". You do not have to enter the area code for the number if your computer and phone line is within the austintexas.net connect area code selected. |

Enter your login username and password as shown. Remember that your dialup usename is in the format "cidxxx", click "Next". |

Enter a name to refer to this connection by. It can be anything you like, we suggest: austintexas.net for obvious reasons. When done, click "Next". |

Click "Finish" to complete your configuration. Your computer is now configured to dialup up to austintexas.net connect and get online. |

Opening up an Internet Application such as a browser (IE, Netscape, etc) or an email program (Outlook, etc) will automatically dialup for you. If you wish to dialup manually use the Dialup Connection icon you just made using the Internet Connection Wizard. |
